Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Agogo handles personal data when customers, recipients, businesses, delivery partners and operations users access our Singapore delivery platform. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
- Account information such as name, email address, phone number, role and sign-in identifiers.
- Booking information such as scheduled pickup time, pickup and drop-off addresses, area, recipient details, item notes, price, status and support communications.
- Booking item photos and delivery-proof photos uploaded by customers or partners.
- Ratings, written reviews, the name selected for display and public review-sharing identifiers.
- Partner application data such as legal name, date of birth, nationality or residency, residential address, emergency contact, vehicle registration, experience and screening consent.
- For rider identity and eligibility review, images of the front and back of the applicant’s NRIC and driving licence, plus licence details such as issue date and the last four characters.
- Precise device location when a partner grants browser permission and actively shares GPS for an assigned delivery.
- Payment, optional tip and payout identifiers, status and transaction records supplied by Stripe; Agogo does not store complete card numbers.
- Device, browser, security, access and diagnostic information generated when you use the service.
Why we use personal data
- Create accounts, authenticate users and provide role-appropriate workspaces.
- Quote, arrange, dispatch, track, complete and support deliveries.
- Show customers an assigned partner’s live position and delivery milestones.
- Verify delivery completion, investigate disputes and protect people, goods and the platform.
- Process payments, partner onboarding, earnings and payouts.
- Review partner eligibility, safety and application information with consent and where legally permitted.
- Meet legal obligations, enforce our Terms, prevent fraud and improve service reliability.
Live GPS and photos
Live GPS is collected only after an assigned partner grants device permission and turns on location sharing for an active delivery. The latest signal is shown to authorised users for operational tracking. Sharing can be stopped from the rider workspace and should end when the job is completed.
- Customers should photograph only the item needed for the booking.
- Partners should frame proof around the delivered item and drop-off point, avoiding faces, identity documents, home interiors and unrelated people where possible.
- Do not upload sensitive information that is unnecessary for delivery.
Public review sharing
After delivery, a customer may create a public review link for social media or messaging apps. Anyone with that link can see the selected display name, star rating and review text; delivery addresses, recipient details and phone numbers are not included.
- Do not put personal, confidential or unlawful information in a review.
- Social networks and messaging services process shared links under their own privacy terms.
- Contact Agogo if a public review link needs attention.
Rider identity documents
NRIC and driving-licence images are collected only for rider identity, eligibility, safety and fraud review. They are stored as private files and are available only to the rider and authorised Agogo operations staff.
- Do not submit another person’s identity document.
- Agogo will not display these documents on public profiles or to customers.
- Agogo will delete or securely dispose of the files when they are no longer reasonably needed for the stated purpose or a legal obligation.
When we disclose information
- To the customer, recipient, assigned partner and authorised Agogo operations users as needed for a delivery.
- To Stripe and other payment, identity, payout, hosting, storage, mapping, communications, security or support providers acting for the service.
- To advisers, insurers, authorities or other parties where reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety, investigate wrongdoing, comply with law or handle a claim.
- In connection with a business reorganisation, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards.
Retention and international processing
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for delivery records, account operation, safety, disputes, accounting, legal compliance and legitimate business purposes, then delete or anonymise it where practical. Some service providers may process data outside Singapore; we use contractual or other safeguards intended to provide protection comparable to applicable Singapore requirements.
Security
Agogo uses access controls, encrypted connections, protected secret storage and role-based workspaces intended to reduce unauthorised access, loss and misuse. No online service can promise absolute security. Keep your sign-in details private and contact us promptly about suspected misuse.
Your choices and requests
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct personal data, withdraw consent, or ask questions about our handling of your information. Withdrawing consent can limit features that need that information—for example, a rider cannot provide live tracking after location permission is withdrawn.
- Use your browser or device settings to control location and camera permissions.
- Contact Agogo to request access, correction, withdrawal or account assistance.
- We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children
Agogo is not designed for children to create delivery-partner accounts. Delivery partners must be at least 18. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate authorisation, contact us.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the service or law changes. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate.
